Errol Speed's sentencing, for his September 23 conviction on constructing a structure without any permits; and failing to provide approved sewage disposal in a place where people reside, was continued until November 6 due to his attorney Lawrence Delay not being prepared.
Delay told the judge he had received the prosecutor's sentencing report on Tuesday and hadn't had time to produce a response. The prosecutor was under no obligation to provide Delay with a copy but did so as a courtesy.

As he granted the continuance until November 6 Judge Andrew said, This is most unusual." PREVIOUS STORY
