Washington State Ferries advises customers to plan for heavy traffic and long wait times during the Memorial Day weekend.
There will be some extra service on Monday, May 28
At 1:55 p.m. an extra sailing from Anacortes to Orcas.
At 3:15 p.m. an extra sailing from Orcas to Anacortes.
The inter-island vessel, operating on a Sunday schedule, will make a 2:15 p.m. sailing from Friday Harbor to Lopez and Anacortes (instead of a 2:20 p.m. round trip sailing from Friday Harbor).

Webcams at the Anacortes, Friday Harbor and Orcas Island ferry terminals give you a chance to size up the ferry lines. Keep in mind the situation can change quickly.
