Dear Editor,

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Susan. She and Griffin Bay Bookstore were one of the highlights during my sojourn in Friday Harbor. She will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

A GREAT WOMAN

Dear Editor,

We have lost a great woman in this community. She was always smiling, laughing conversing, interacting. I will never forget when I had back surgery and needed some books by John J. Nance shd did not have. She ordered them for me, they were there in one day. She called to tell me they were in. I had another chance to converse with her which was always an amazing experience. I will miss her tremendously. Thank you Susan for being courageous and kind to all.
