$25K to tear down Mark & Pak

The Port of Friday Harbor couldn't find anyone to remove the old Mark & Pak building for free, so Richard Lawson Construction will be paid $25,480 to tear it down and remove it. Four companies submitted bids ranging from Lawson's low bid to $85,000. Port staff is finalizing the contract and hopes to have the building removed by early spring.
