OBITUARY: Dorothy Marquerite GrollDorothy Marguerite Groll, 91 of Friday Harbor, Washington, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Burton Care Center in Burlington, WA. She was born on November 12, 1915 at Big Lake, Washington, the daughter of Charles and Pearl (LaFlamme) Jenkins. Dorothy loved to garden, and play bingo and the slot machines. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Groll; her daughter, Anita Young of Longview; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ruth Ploghoft of Friday Harbor, daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Laurence Hemley of Gig Harbor; sister, Viola Savage of Anacortes; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Valley Cemetery in Friday Harbor, WA. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and San Juan Islands.
