Laura Pearl Crist

January 13, 1916 to October 10, 2007

Laura Pearl Crist, 91, passed away on October 10, 2007 in Northwest Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She was born Laura Pearl Richardson on January 13, 1916 in Portland, Oregon. She was the eldest of five daughters of Esther (Curtis) Richardson and Alvin W. Richardson and the great granddaughter of Oregon Trail pioneers Will Wells Curtis and Laura (Jeffries) Curtis.

She met and married Robert "Bob" Crist at the end of WWII and they raised three sons in Seattle. The lived on San Juan Island from 1969 to 1982 where Bob was a well respected builder and Laura became involved in the community they both loved.

Beloved wife of Robert E. Crist who predeceased her in 1983. Mother of three sons, Curtis J. Crist (Michele) of Bellevue, Washington; Clinton E. Crist (Roberta) Stevenson, Washington; and Carson A. Crist, Seattle, Washington. Three grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Crist (Lisa), Issaquah, Washington; Erika M. Cravens (Todd), Chicago, Illinois; and Elizabeth L. Crist, Friday Harbor, Washington. Three great grandsons, Jordan Crist, Nolan Crist, and Wyatt Chalfant. One sister survives her, Jesamine G. Snively (Robert), Seattle, Washington.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Friday Harbor and the Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ballard, Seattle. No services at her request. Remembrances to a favorite charity.
