Thomas Martin SmytheMay 8, 1967 – Jan. 6, 2010
Thomas Martin Smythe passed away early morning Jan. 6, 2010 after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was 42. He was born May 8, 1967 to Carol Anne Smythe and Thomas Dennis Smythe in Santa Paula, California. He is survived by his mother; his son, Thomas Mason Smythe; his daughter, Kayla Amber Noble; his grandson, Mason Allen Noble; his brother, Jeffery Lee Smythe; and his close friend, Sonia Nash. There will be a celebration of his life at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 10 at his home at 655 Hunt Street in Friday Harbor. Tom was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed coaching his son's stadium football. Since he was 17, he made carpentry his profession and was an excellent craftsman.
