Fourth-graders at Friday Harbor Elementary School practiced putting out stove top fires during prevention week October 25, 2002. Firefighters Susan Risser and Carolyn Hudson shared safety tips with the students before they went outside. Friday Harbor Fire Dept. Training Officer Jason Peck assisted each student as they placed a lid on a burning pan.
