Time for kindergarten registration

Parents who wish to enroll their children for the San Juan Island School District 2001-2002 kindergarten session should call Friday Harbor Elementary School at 360.378.5209 to make an appointment. Students will be registered on Tuesday, May 1 and Wednesday, May 2 in the school office.

To be eligible for the 2001-2002 kindergarten class, students must be five years of age by August 31, 2001. It is not necessary for the child to come to the registration appointment. Parents should bring their child's birth certificate and immunization records. The county Health Department will offer health screenings for kindergarteners later this spring.
