Wolverine baseball team starts season with victory

Friday Harbor boys baseball team swatted 10 hits in a 11-4 season-opening victory over La Conner Tuesday, March 25.

"We usually come out slow because we've been in the gym and haven't faced live pitching," said Friday Harbor coach Rich Warin. "It was a great start."

Timmy Aylward and Damon Woodward each rapped a double and a single for the Wolverines. Elliot Thomsen smacked two bae hits.

Adam White went the distance for the Wolverines, throwing strong in the seven innings.
