Right-fielder Timmy Aylward shined on the defense for the host Wolverines. Aylward make an Ichiro-like run from right to shallow center before diving full-out for a catch. The grab robbed the Vikings of two runs. Aylward also rapped a single, put down a sacrifice bunt and drove in a run. Friday Harbor's Danny Cumming smacked a double and drove in a couple of runs. Andrew Westphalen drilled a double and stole a base. Brady Ryan, who notched the win, singled and had an RBI. Shane Welch rapped a double for the Vikings. Ryan Harvey, Justin Rorabaugh, Patrick Stevens and Miles Murphy each singled. Friday Harbor remains in second place in the Northwest A League with a 7-2 record.
