Blazers bounce Wolverine girls

Friday Harbor girls basketball team struggled offensively in a 37-30 loss to Bush Friday, Dec. 13.

"We couldn’t buy a bucket," said Friday Harbor coach Becky Shanks.

Shanks was pleased with the Wolverines, who worked the ball for numerous open shots and within a basket late in the fourth quarter. "With those looks, our time will come," she said.

Sissy Carlton led the Wolverines with 10 points. Erica Percich scored 8, Megan Vynne 6, Julia Ross 4 and Krysta Brem 2.
