Only the top three boys finishers shot in the 70s on the wind- and rain-swept course. "It was unbelievable. It was horrible, horrible rain for the first nine holes," Sandwith said.

Friday Harbor’s boys team preserved its perfect record through unselfish play by members who knew late in the match that they likely wouldn’t make the cut. Senior Nick Schuman shot an 89. Sophomore Hank Schuman and senior Kohl Metzger-Bell finished with 94s.
"They held their composure and scored well enough to give us the overall point total," Sandwith said.
