Friday Harbor boys take 2nd at league meet

Nathan Smith continued to dominate three events and John Marsh posted two second-places as the Friday Harbor boys track team finished second at Everett Memorial Stadium Saturday, May 3.

Host Archbishop Murphy won the meet with 217.5 points. Friday Harbor tallied 92 points. Other team scores are: La Conner 90, Snohomish County Christian 32, Shoreline Christian 21.5, Grace Academy 15, Coupeville 13 and Arlington Christian 2.

Wolverine boys win 11-team meet

Nathan Smith won the long jump, high jump and javeline as the Friday Harbor boys track team dominated a Northwest A/B League meet at Sedro-Wooley High School Thursday, April 24.

Friday Harbor tallied 130 points, easily out-scoring host Mount Vernon Christian, who finished with 77. The other team scores are: Archbishop Murphy 74, La Conner 71, Coupeville 40, Snohomish County Christian 29, Concrete 21.5, Shoreline Christian 18.5, Grace Academy 15, Lopez 12 and Arlington Christian 0.
