Wolverine baseball team finishes season

The Friday Harbor baseball team needed some help Saturday to have a shot at the playoffs but didn't receive it.
Concrete won each game of a doubleheader against Orcas Saturday, May 8. The Lions, 12-3 in conference play, clinched the Northwest A League title and a playoff berth.
Friday Harbor finished the season 11-4, tied for second in the league with Archbishop Murphy. The Wildcats were 2-1 in head-to-head competition with Wolverines and captured the league's second playoff berth.
The Wolverines complete the season 16-4.
