Wolverine baseball team blanks Lions in doubleheader

Friday Harbor pounded Snohomish County Christian 14-0 and 11-0 Saturday, March 20.

The Wolverines broke out nine runs in the first inning. Eric Rothlisberger and Peter Shanks each rapped a double.

"All the young kids played and did really well," said Friday Harbor coach Rich Warin.

Friday Harbor scored all of their 14 runs in the first inning of the second game. Trefor Bacon and Chas Lawson hit a three-run triple apiece.

The Wolverines improve to 4-0.


Friday Harbor thrashes Darrington

Andrew Westphalen cracked a three-run homer as Friday Harbor routed Darrington 18-1 in the Wolverines’ home opener Friday, March 19, 2004.

Brady Ryan earned the win for the Wolverines, who allowed only two hits in five innings.

Friday Harbor improves to 2-0.
