Lakewood edges Friday Harbor boys

Jake Kari drilled three threes and two free throws as Lakewood nipped Friday Harbor 46-43 Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The teams entered the fourth quarter tied 30-30 but Kari scored 11 of his 14 points as the host outscored the Wolverines 16-13 in the final period.

Matt Cowell sank three treys and finished with 17 points to lead the Wolverines. Sean Anderson contributed 9 and Chad Stoddard had 7. Other Friday Harbor scorers are: Danny Cumming 4, Tyler Roberts 2, Nik Grah 2 and Dylan Gerhardstein 2.

Friday Harbor boys top Cedarcrest

Friday Harbor boys basketball team conquered Cedarcrest Christian 52-43 in a road game Saturday, Dec. 6.

Matt Cowell scored 13 for the Wolverines and Tyler Roberts had 10. Friday Harbor’s other scorers are John Hamilton 9, Paul Guard 6, Chad Stoddard 5, Sean Anderson 4, Nik Grah 3 and Dylan Gerhardstein 2.
