Friday Harbor boys basketball team stunned Archbishop Murphy 60-55 in overtime Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 on the conference-leader's court. The victory over the first-place Wildcats helps the Wolverines keep pace in the Northwest A League.

The Wolverines improve to 4-3 in league play and are tied for second with La Conner and Coupeville. Friday Harbor hosts Concrete (3-4) at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 and Orcas (0-6) at noon Saturday, Feb. 7. The Wolverines finish league play at La Conner at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Friday Harbor outscored Archbishop Murphy 12-7 to notch the upset. The Wildcats led 39-35 going in to the final period.

Four Wolverines scored in double figures. Sean Anderson led the team with 15 points. Tyler Roberts pumped in 14 and Matt Cowell scored 12. Chad Stoddard contributed 12. Nik Grah had 4 and Danny Cumming 3.
