Frigid-shooting Friday Harbor falls to Archbishop Murphy

Archbishop Murphy took advantage of Friday Harbor's cold shooting to win a Northwest A League opener 43-33 Friday, Jan. 9.

Wes Taylor scored 13 points in the first half but the host Wildcats held him to 2 points in the second half. He went 5-for-5 at the free-throw line and his 15 points led all scorers.

Paul Guard paced Friday Harbor with 9 points. Other Friday Harbor scorers are: Tyler Roberts 5, Sean Anderson 4, Matt Cowell 4, Nik Grah 4, Chad Stoddard 3, Dylan Gerhardstein 2 and John Hamilton 2.

Archbishop improves to 1-0 in league and 8-2 overall. Friday Harbor is 0-1 and 6-4.
