Sophomore pitcher Beth Kelsey, backed by some stingy defense, led the Wolverines to victory in the first game. Kelsey scattered five hits, struck out four batters and walked one. "That was one of the best softall games I’ve ever been involved with," said Friday Harbor coach Kevin Carlton. "I’m not just saying that because we came out on good side of it." | ||
