Lynden defeats Friday Harbor tennis team

Lynden’s girls tennis squad swept Friday Harbor 5-0 Friday, March 19, 2004.
Mari Pemberton and Heather Jones forced a tie-breaker against host Lynden’s No. 1 team of Kelly Blumberg and Amy Kaye. The Lions won the first set 6-2 but the Wolverines rebounded for 6-3 victory. Blumberg and Kaye trimmed Pemberton and Jones 6-8 in the tie-breaker.
