Wolverines place 2nd in first meet

Lucas Franco finished first in the 3200-meter run, Andrew Teasdale won the 400 run and Tommy Guard was victorious in the 110 hurdles in Friday Harbor’s first meet of the season at Coupeville Friday, March 19. The Wolverines finished second in the team standings.

Mount Vernon Christian won the meet with 113 points. Friday Harbor scored 66. Coupeville was third with 61. Grace Academy was fourth with 2.

Franco won the 3200 in 10 minutes, 51.58 seconds. He finished second in the 1600 in 5:00.15.

Guard bounded through the 110 hurdles in :20.07 and placed second inthe 300 hurdles in :50.19.

Teasdale ran the 400 in :58.33.
