Darrington beats Friday Harbor girls

Friday Harbor trailed Darrington by a point at halftime Tuesday, Dec. 14, but the Loggers outscored the visiting Wolverines 33-16 in the second half for a 49-31 victory.

Madision Judkins led the Wolverines with 12 points. Other Friday Harbor scorers were: Beth Kelsey 6, Megan Vynne 5, Kiersten Radden-Wold, Sarah Anderson 2 and Natalie Chevalier 2.

Friday Harbor is 1-1 in Northwest A/B League action and 2-2 overall.

Wolverine girls win league opener

Beth Kelsey pumped in 6 of her team-high 12 points in the final four minutes as the Wolverines rallied for a 52-39 Northwest A/B League win over Mount Vernon Christian Friday, Dec. 10.

The Wolverines used balance scoring to win their conference opener. In addition to Kelsey, Friday Harbor's scorers were: Annie Bryant 9, Sarah Anderson 6, Megan Vynne 6, Pearl Schuman 6, Madison Judkins 6, Natalie Chevalier 5 and Lauren Peterson 2.

Friday Harbor improved to 3-1 overall.

Friday Harbor girls run by Lopez

Nine Friday Harbor players scored as the Wolverines ran past the Lopez Lobos 50-32 Saturday, Dec. 4.

Beth Kelsey paced the Wolverines with 11 and Megan Vynne contributed 10. Other Friday Harbor scorers were: Natalie Chevalier 7, Lauren Guard 6, Sarah Anderson 6, Madison Judkins 4, Pearl Schuman 2, Alana Sullivan 2 and Kiersten Radden-Wold 2.

Wolverine girls fly by Cardinals

Madison Judkins scored 20 points and Natalie Chevalier chipped in 19 in the Friday Harbor girls basketball 69-43 in a victory over Seattle Academy Friday, Dec. 3.

Megan Vynne contributed 11 points for the Wolverines. Sarah Anderson had 7, Lauren Peterson 6, Kiersten Radden-Wold 4 and Alana Sullivan 2.

Sultan beats Friday Harbor

Sultan defeated Friday Harbor girls basketball team 52-39 in the Wolverines season-opener Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Natalie Chevalier led the Wolverines with 9 points. Other Friday Harbor scorers were: Sarah Anderson 7, Annie Bryant 6, Kiersten Radden-Wold 4, Madison Judkins 3, Lauren Peterson 3, Beth Kelsey 3, Megan Vynne 2 and Pearl Schuman 2.
