Kelsey sisters combine for no-hitterposted 05/12/05
"That’s pretty cool," said Friday Harbor coach Kevin Carlton. Beth upped her record to 12-2. The elder Kelsey struck out seven of nine batters during the first three innings. She walked two batters. Alysa fanned one batter and didn’t allow a Logger to reach base. Jenny Guard hit 4-for-4 and Lauren Brem went 2-for-3 for the Wolverines. The Wolverines are 5-1 in Northwest A/B League action, one game back of Concrete. The Lions visit Friday Harbor for the Wolverines final home game of the season at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, May 3. Beth Kelsey earned her eighth win. She struck out eight Braves and gave up only two hits. Kiersten Radden hit a single and double and Lauren Brem crushed a triple. Kateie Shanks, Sarah Anderson and MacKenzie Raab each rapped a singles. | ||
