Granite Falls tumbles against Friday Harbor boys

Friday Harbor boys basketball team improved to 4-0 with a 46-33 non-conference win at Granite Falls Saturday, Dec. 11.


Wolverine boys stop Hurricanes

Tyler Roberts sank two key jump shots and Tyler Hart sank a pair of free throws in the final two minutes to help lift Friday Harbor to a 56-49 victory in the Wolverines Northwest A/B League opener Friday, Dec. 10, 2005 against Mount Vernon Christian.

Paul Guard led the Wolverines with 16 points and John Hamilton contributed 12. Roberts and Chad Stoddard chipped in 9 apiece. Dylan Gerhardstein scored 5, Tyler Hart 4 and Chad Stoddard 1.

Friday Harbor improved to 3-0 overall.


Wolverine boys balanced scoring topples Turks

Ten Friday Harbor players scored as the Wolverines defeated Sultan 68-59 in a non-conference game Dec. 6.

The scorers were: Paul Guard 14, Robbie Roe 12, Tyler Roberts 9, Keller McNairy 9, Brock McNairy 6, John Hamilton 6, Chad Stoddard 4, Tyler Hart 3, Sal Ukra 2 and Tim Cumming 1.


Friday Harbor boys nip Seattle Academy

A short-handed Friday Harbor boys basketball team trimmed Seattle Academy 53-52 in their season opener Friday, Dec. 3.

The Wolverines -- limited to seven players due to the extended football season -- entered the fourth quarter up 46-32 and held off a late rally by the Cardinals.

John Hamilton paced Friday Harbor with 18 points. Other scorers were: Paul Guard 12, Dylan Gerhardstein 9, Robbie Roe 6, Sal Ukra 4, Eric Rothlisberger 2 and Keller McNairy 2.
