"That was a big win," said assistant coach Andy Duke. "It kind of gave us a measure of where we’re at in the state." Seattle Christian, an independent team , tied 2004 Class 1A/B Champion University Prep and blasted Northwest 1A/B League runner-up Mount Vernon Christian 6-0 a couple of weeks ago. "This was a huge shutout," Duke said. The Wolverines finish regular-season play with a 13-1-1 record and 8 shutouts. Felipe Lopez scored on a break-away goal ???? in the first half and assisted Mario Nunez, who booted in the Wolverines’ second goal in the second half. Guard made several saves against the potent Warrior offense. "Paul had a great game again," Duke said. "They were the best team we played this year," said Wolverine goalkeeper Paul Guard. "Our defense played awesome."
