"Our execution is good," said Friday Harbor coach Richard Ledford. "I thought we hit pretty well." Friday Harbor built a 60-0 lead before the Wolverine second string gave up two touchdowns. The Wolverines, ranked second in Class 1A, lead the Northwest A/B League with a 5-0 record. They are 8-0 overall. Hart scored on runs of 7, 38 and 53 yards. He gained 111 yards on 7 carries. David Ahrenius ran 66 yards for a touchdown and Loch Stimpson had a 59-yard touchdown carry. Woodruff scored on pass plays of 33 and 62 yards. Chad Stoddard made a 47-yard reception. Cole Franklin completed 4 of 6 passes for 159. Friday Harbor’s starting safeties were not tested -- they made only one tackle. Pete GrosJacques led the Wolverines with 9 tackles and Loch Stimpson had 8. Kyle Miller made 7 tackles, including a sack, and Tyler Dixon also had 7. Chas Lawson tallied 6 tackles, including a sack and Trent Roberts had 5 tackles and an interception. Brock McNairy had 5 tackles and Willie Burns and Dwight had 4 apiece. The Wolverines host Darrington for homecoming Friday, Oct. 28, 2005. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
