Wolverine boys roll past Vikings

Friday Harbor boys basketball squad rolled to a 59-40 victory over Orcas Island Saturday, Jan. 21.

The host Wolverines started the game with a 10-0 burst and finished with an 18-7 run. Friday Harbor improves to 8-0 in Northwest A/B League play and 11-2 overall. Orcas is 2-8 and 5-10.

Friday Harbor's Chad Stoddard led all scorers with 18 points. Brock McNairy sank four three-pointers and finished with 16. Tyler Hart scored 8 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter. Dylan Gerhardstein had 9.

Winslow Moran-Hodge drilled three treys and led Orcas scorers with 14. The other Viking scorers were: Cameron Kamphaus 7, Miles Murphy 5, Andy Nigretto 5, Jess Goffeney 4, Chandler Stone 2, Thaddeus Gincig 2.
