Sultan defeats Friday Harbor girls

Friday Harbor girls basketball team dropped a non-league contest 46-30 at Sultan Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005.

Annie Bryant led the Wolverines with 13 points. Madison Judkins scored 8 and Alysa Kelsey had 3. Sarah Anderson, Natalie Chevalier and Kiersten Radden contributed 2 apiece. Pearl Schuman scored 1.

Friday Harbor is 1-1.

Wolverine girls overpower Lobos

Friday Harbor girls basketball team used size and experience to win their home opener Tuesday, Dec. 6: The Wolverines thumped Lopez 66-12 in a non-league game.

The young Lobos -- with only one upperclassman on their roster -- struggled against the Wolverines’ stifling defensive pressure. Friday Harbor went up 43-6 at the end of the third quarter.

Nine Wolverines scored as Steve Anderson used his entire bench. Natalie Chevalier paced the Wolverines with 13 points and Pearl Schuman chipped in 10. Madison Judkins and Kiersten Radden pitched in 9 points apiece. Sarah Heeren scored 7 and Sarah Anderson had 6. Amanda Root contributed 4.

Lisa Vaughn led Lopez scorers with 7. Larissa Berg and Ashley Sahli each scored 2 and Lindsey Cummins had 1.

Friday Harbor girls win season opener

Friday Harbor girls basketball team opened the 2005-2006 season with a 47-22 victory at Rainier Christian Saturday, Dec. 3.

The Wolverines built a 23-4 halftime lead in the non-league contest.

Natalie Chevalier led the Wolverines with 16 points and Sarah Anderson contributed 15. Kiersten Radden scored 10. Pearl Schuman had 4 and Amanda Root 2.
