Friday Harbor won four of the nine contested matches in a home, non-league 46-21 loss to Tacoma Baptist Saturday, Jan. 21.

"These guys are starting to figure it out," said Friday Harbor coach Gordy Banry. "They’re coming on strong."

Jacob Foley (135 pounds) pinned Tacoma Baptist’s Clete Johnson in the first round and Friday Harbor’s Pete GrosJacques (215) stopped Grant Lowe in the third period. Friday Harbor’s Jim Gossom (160) blanked Josh Vitzhum and Kyle Miller (140) rcorded a decision.

Results are:

  • 103 - Lucas Nolta (TB) won by forfeit.

  • 112 - Daniel Narlock (TB) won by forfeit.

  • 119 - Double forfeit.

  • 125 - Angela Gossom (FH) won by forfeit.

  • 130 - Rader Johnson (TB) decision, Daniel Narlock 13-4.

  • 135 - Jacob Foley (FH) pinned Clete Johnson, 1:12.

  • 140 -Kyle Miller (FH) decision, Caleb Hamlmes, 11-8.
