Friday Harbor thrashed La Conner 13-0 and 11-1 in a home Northwest 1A/2B League in two five-inning games Saturday, March 31. Richie Ochoa shut out the Braves in the first four innings of the first contest. He fanned nine and gave up only two hits. Cole Franklin struck out three, walked one and gave up a hit in one inning of relief. He also had a base hit and two RBI. Michael Sandifer singled and drove in four runs for the Wolverines. Matt Rothlisberger hit two base hits and had an RBI. Forrest Crawford singled and drove in a run. Cole Howard smacked two base hits. Eddie Nash and Ryan Aylward also connected for singles. Howard singled and drove in three runs for the Wolverines in the second game. Franklin singled, doubled and drove in a run. Albert Strasser rapped a base hit and had two RBI. Seiji Boku singled twice and Aylward had a base hit. Matt Rothlisberger earned the win. He allowed one run, gave up three hits, walked three and struck out six.
