Friday Harbor thumped Orcas Island 18-1 and 6-0 in Northwest 1A/2B League action Saturday, March 15. Kiersten Radden and Maggie each singled and doubled for the Wolverines in the first game. Ellie Guard ripped two base hits. Renae Harvey ripped a double for the Vikings and Cara Peacock had a base hit. Kelsey Carlton, Beth Ware, Kerri Goff, Brooke Jangard, Kestrel Bailey and Margaret Nash cracked singles for the Wolverines in the second contest. The teams went scoreless until the bottom of the fourth-inning of the second game when the Wolverines broke out for their six runs. Radden led the Wolverines with two singles. Lanie Padbury hit a double and single for the Vikings. Peacock had a base hit.
