"Almost everybody on the team set a personal record...I'm pretty proud of this team," said Lopez coach Steve Wilbur. Lopez tallied 176.5 points for the team victory. Clallam finished second with 135. Senior Terrell Carter's switch from the long distance running to sprinting is paying off big. He finished first in the 400-meter dash in 51.76 seconds, beating the defending champion, breaking his own record for the Lobos and posting the best time this year in Class 1B. The Lobos' 4 x 100 relay team of Carter, junior Sebastian Lasbo, senior Keaton Farris and senior Jordan Smith broke the school record with a first-place finish of :46.08. That's also the quickest time in Class 1B this season. Junior Jordan Haber snapped the Lobos' mark in the 110 high hurdles with a first-place finish in :17.03. "To break three school records in one meet is pretty dar amazing," Wilbur said. Lasbo also won the 800 in 2:05.35 and the Lobo 1600 relay team Carter, Lasbo, Emmett Lawrence and Smith finished first in 3:42.38. Haber swept the hurdles with a win in the 300 intermediates.
