Friday Harbor boys
victorious in eight events

The Wolverine boys track team continued its strong start by winning eight events and finishing second at Coupeville, Friday, March 29.

Friday Harbor's victors were: Nathan Smith long and high jumps; Chad Cymbalista, 100-meter dash; Lucas Franco, 3200 run; Adrian Kilpatrick, javelin; Drew Allen, discus; and the 400 relay.

Second-placers for the Wolverines were: Travis Heim, long jump; John Marsh, high jump; and Ian Paterson, triple jump. Friday Harbor's 1600 relay team and Jesse Kjolso, in third in the 110 high hurdles, came in third.

Fourth-place finishers were: Kjolso, 300 intermediate hurdles; Smith, 200 dash; Heim, triple jump; Johannes Paul, 800 and 1600 runs; Tyler Roberts, long jump; Silas Cook, javelin; and B team, 400 relay.

Roberts, in the 400 sprint, Allen in the discus, and Colin Hamilton, in the triple jump, finished fifth.

Friday Harbor hosts its first of two home meets at 4:15 p.m. Friday, April 5.
