King's knocked Friday Harbor out of postseason play by defeating the Wolverines 47-23 Thursday, Feb. 9. The Knights (19-2) move on to the Class 1A Tri-District Tournament. The Wolverines were 14-7 overall.
Friday Harbor girls travel to King's for district contest
Friday Harbor girls basketball team travels to King's for a District 1 Tournament contest at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. The winner advances to the Class 1A Tri-District Tourney and the loser is out.
The Wolverines won the Northwest 1A/2B League with a 12-2 record and finished the regular season 14-6. The Knights tied for the Cascade Conference crown with a 13-1 record and we're 18-2 overall. They placed eighth at last year's state tourney.
"It's definitely going to be a challenge," said Friday Harbor coach Eric Jangard. "We're going to go there and play without fear."
