Fishing against some strong competition from local anglers and teams from the mainland, Kevin Klein took top prize in the third and final Bluewater Derby on Saturday with a 16 lb. King.
The last weekend of the 2012 Winter Chinook season saw beautiful weather and some larger fish caught.
This wraps up salmon fishing in the Islands until the July 1st Summer opener. Halibut and Lingcod fishing begins in May along with selected dates for prawning.
