It looks like eleven fish were turned in for the first weekend of the Frank Wilson Derby. Anglers have until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 10 to weigh in their catch for the first week of the 10-week derby. Each week a $75 gift certificate is awarded for the largest fish. The leaderboard after the first weekend is:

5. Jim Lawson - 9.76

Rumor has it that Pete Nelson caught a nice 23+ fish on Feb. 1 - but had not bought a ticket yet! So those big boys are out there. It'll be interesting to see what happens this coming weekend with the Roche Derby. - Sharon Beach.
