Nooksack beat Friday Harbor High School's football game 47-14 at the homecoming game September 14, 2011. Better late than never, we've posted photos of the game.
The senior class won the overall prize for the Friday Harbor High School's 2011 Homecoming Parade.
updated 3:34 p.m. The Orcas Vikings football team made it two in a row by winning the 2011 Island Cup 20-15 Saturday, September 10 in Eastsound. At the end of the first quarter they were ahead of Friday Harbor 7-0, the Wolverines tied it up 7-7 in the second quarter but Orcas took the lead back in the third quarter, leading 13-9 at the beginning of the fourth.
Orcas Island rallied in the final minutes for a 20-15 victory over cross-water rival Friday Harbor on Dennis Dahl Field Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.
