Friday Harbor High School girls basketball coach Eric Janguard is the NW 1a/2B Coach of the Year and his team is the Sportsmanship Team of the Year.
Meridian broke away from Friday Harbor in the second half of a 48-27 in non-conference win Saturday, Jan. 7. The Wolverines limited the taller Trojans to a 14-13 lead in the first half but the visitors outscored Friday Harbor 17-9 in the third period.

Friday Harbor travels to Cedar Park Christian Tuesday, Jan. 31, is at La Conner Friday, Feb. 3 and finishes conference play at home against Orcas Island Saturday, Feb. 4.
