Wolverine Girls Basketball - Friday Harbor HS
Meridian broke away from Friday Harbor in the second half of a 48-27 in non-conference win Saturday, Jan. 7. The Wolverines limited the taller Trojans to a 14-13 lead in the first half but the visitors outscored Friday Harbor 17-9 in the third period.
Mandy Turnbull led the Wolverines with 9 points. Friday Harbor’s other scorers were:
Liz Taylor 6, Larissa Nash 4, Jean Melborne 2, Tabatha Keane 2, Jadyn Slack 2 and Ellie Woodward 2.
The Wolverines are 8-3 overall.
