County Parks

Camping reservations at San Juan County parks may be made seven to 90 days in advance by calling 360.378.1842 noon-4 p.m., Monday-Friday through Sept. 15. Commercial operators, non-profit organization, and other groups should contact the park Superintendent at 360.378.8420. Special events must also be arranged through the Superintendent’s Office in Friday Harbor. Additional information is available on the park department’s Web site

Agate Beach County Park. End of MacKaye harbor Rd., southern Lopez Island. Picnic site and beach with views craggy Iceberg Point.

Eagle Cove Park. Eagle Cove Rd., San Juan Island, six miles southeast of Friday Harbor. Tree-sheltered trail leads to gradually-sloping sandy beach. Picnicking, beachcombing.

Eastsound Waterfront Park. Southwest of Main St., Eastsound Village. Overlooks bay of the same name. Picnicking area, adjacent tidelands.

Odlin Park. Off Ferry Rd.,1 mile south of Lopez Island ferry landing. Beachcombing, picnicking, marine views. 30 campsites, including group sites. 360.468.2496.

Otis Perkins Day Park. Off Bayshore Rd., along the south end of Fisherman Bay, Lopez Island.

San Juan County Park. 380 Westside Rd., San Juan Island. Campingpicnicking, boating, scuba diving. 18 campsites, including group sites. 360.378.2992.

Shaw Island County Park. Off Island Cove Rd., south end of Shaw Island. Picnic shelter and 11 campsites on picturesque Island Cove.
