Looking for furnished room September through July. Hello! My name is Maggie and I am moving to the island to work with the conservation district and am looking for a place to call home! I’d like to find something for under $800/month and am not picky so long as I have full access to the kitchen as I love to cook and bake. Doesn’t need to be in town but ideally near enough to bike to guard St. I’ve spent the past two years living in an Au pair/tutor arrangement and would be willing to work out something similar on the island. Super responsible; clean; no smoking, drugs, or drinking; comfortable with kids and pets. Thanks! [email protected] posted 8/4

My husband and I are seeking a house rental from early, mid, or late September on San Juan Island for one month. We have spent a lot of time on the island and would love to return as we look for a property to buy. We are a mature couple in our sixties, with great references if needed, clean lifestyle, no smoking, no pets and no alcohol use. We seek a house that is pet free. Please feel free to email us: [email protected] Or call: 917-826-7233 posted 7/15

Seeking furnished rental beginning October 1st: Hi, my name is Suzanne! I am a 60-year-old woman with two Newfoundland dogs. I am retiring on San Juan Island beginning October 1st. I am seeking a one or two bedroom furnished cottage to rent, while I’ll look for the same to purchase in the coming year. I would like to rent from October 1 through May 31. I do not smoke or drink alcohol, I am a terrific cook and knitter. My Newfoundlands are aged nine and 12 which makes them seniors, so they spend most of their day sleeping. I look forward to hearing from you, thank you so much for your time. You can reach me at: [email protected] posted 6/24

Moving to the islands this fall for work and looking for housing for myself & partner (and one well behaved older dog). I'll be working with the conservation district and he is a licensed massage therapist. Open to any affordable rental or shared space with sufficient room. Can provide references and have experience maintaining previous houses, from farming and gardening to building and running our own tiny house rental. Appreciate any leads! Please contact Noah at 313-312-7235. posted 6/24

We are a few pals looking for a 3-4 bedroom place to live. We have all been living together on island for the past year and a half and are looking for a place that is roughly $2000-2500/month with or without utilities. We are all full-time employees, working on a local farm, the Bakery, the Labs, and Island Rec and would love to continue to be members of this amazing community! We have always paid rent in full and on time and value honest communication with potential landlords. Many references available. We are very flexible on move-in dates. Contact: Mary 786 390 6315 | [email protected] posted 6/24

Looking for September Rental: My name is Bethany, I am planning to move to the island in September of this year, and I’m looking for a space to rent longterm. Ideally I’d like to spend $1500+ for a unit. I work from home as a therapist via Telehealth and may also be working part time at Peace Health as a behavioral health clinician.
