Feb. 27: Learn the basics of hospice care in Friday Harbor
Hospice of the Northwest is hosting a Hospice 101 presentation at 1 pm Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 .at the Mullis Center Participants will learn the basics of hospice care: the type of support it provides to patients and families, eligibility requirements, how it’s paid for, and how to get started.
This class is appropriate for adults of any age who are interested in learning about hospice care and the difference it makes in the lives of people facing a life-limiting illness.
There are many myths and misconceptions about hospice, so the truth may surprise you!
