Mullis Center not providing dining service due to COVID 19
MULLIS CENTER: Due to the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases on San Juan Island, the Mullis Center has temporarily adjusted how it's currently delivering services. In an abundance of caution, we have canceled most of our on-site programming for the week of March 13.
That said, the Senior Nutrition Program is still available to community members. Meals on Wheels deliveries have not been affected and will continue without interruption, and though we've temporarily discontinued dining room service, we've replaced it with meals-to-go.
If you would like a meal to go on Monday or Wednesday, you can use our drive-through between 12-12:30 pm to pick one up.
Staff will be on-site, as usual, on M-W-F, and available by appointment on T-Th. But we are not open for come-and-go traffic so please call ahead or knock on the main door and we'll answer as soon as we can.
We hope to be back to partial programming next week and then if all looks safe, back to full programming the following week.
Editor's note: The county health department stopped reporting cases on its COVID 19 dashboard at the end of 2022.
Hence the general public does not have a way to know the number of cases in the county.
