Update: 39 percent of ballots cast as of Feb. 7

Ballots for the February 8, 2022 Special Election are due by 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 8. They need to either be postmarked by that date or deposited in a ballot drop box or at the Elections Office. As of 5 p.m. Monday, February 7, another 482 ballots were received at the San Juan County Elections Office. That brings the total cast to 2,765 or 39.33 percent. 

There are 7,031 voters in the San Juan County Public Hospital District #1. The ballot has two measures: a levy renewal for San Juan Island EMS  and a replacement levy for San Juan Island School District.

The charts from the Secretary of State's website show the dates the ballots were returned and the age range of voters who have cast their ballots.
