Charter Commission favors reducing number of council members
Charter Review Commission favors reducing council to three members. At their January 14, 2011 meeting the CRC passed a motion to have three members on the county council instead of the current six. The motion is not a final decision but a place-holder for further discussion. Minutes of the CRC's meetings are available on the commission's section of the county's website.
The meetings are open to the public and commission members encourage people to attend. There are two times reserved for public comments. One is at the beginning of the meeting and the other at noon.
