Friday, 10/20 at 6:30 p.m. Bellingham (4-3) at Friday Harbor (2-0, 4-2)

* In the final regular season home contest of the season the Wolverines take on 2A Bellingham.

* The Bayhawks dropped their first three games and are now on a 4-game win streak - lost to Chief Sealth 32-27, lost to Meadowdale 34-28, lost to Granite Falls 32-27, beat South Whidbey 53-6, beat La Conner 40-8, beat Coupeville 50-7 and beat Blaine 40-23.

Wolverine – Bayhawk Stuff

* These two first played each other in 2014, in fact they went at it twice that season and had two squeaker games, Bellingham winning by two on their field and Friday Harbor winning by one back on the island.  They went back at it again in 2015, ’21 and ’22 with the Whatcom County outfit winning all three.

Odds and Ends

* The 44-6 homecoming thumping of La Conner Friday was the school’s 200th win.

* The Wolverines are now 116-115-1 all-time at home, their first winning record since they were 64-63 on the local field in 1999.

* Bellingham’s mascot was the Red Raiders for years and years.  It changed to Bayhawks for the 2022-23 school year.
