Friday, 11/10 at 2 p.m. Friday Harbor (5-3) at Kalama (7-3)
* The Wolverines finished 4-0 and champions of the Northwest 2B League and as such earned a berth in the 16-team state playoffs.
* Friday Harbor tangles with Kalama (population 3,070 and on I-5 16 miles south of Longview) on Friday afternoon. The Chinooks also finished 4-0 and won their league title.
* Kalama is seeded 5th and Friday Harbor 12th.
* The KHS games in order are: loss to Woodland 44-30, win over Castle Rock 16-7, loss to La Center 17-6, win over King’s Way Christian 48-14, win over Stevenson 36-7, win over Onalaska 44-36**, loss to Napavine 70-12, win over Toledo 36-29**, win over Adna 57-34** and a win over Pe/Ell-Willipa Valley 30-12. **League games.
State
* FH has earned state berths seven times previously – 1976, ’79, ’82, 2004, ’05, 06, 17 and ’19. The first three and the last two were in the B/2B classification while the three others were 1A.
* They have won two games and lost six.

* This will be the first meeting for the Purple and Gold with the Black, Orange and White school from Cowlitz County.
* In their 50 years of the pigskin sport Kalama is the 79th opponent the Wolverines have faced.
* Record against Southwest Washington teams 5-12 (a dozen of ‘em).
* Record against Cowlitz County teams 1-2 (Toutle Lake).
