Venus is now in Cancer and in a difficult alignment with Jupiter. When these two don’t get along, it’s downright indulgent time where moderation takes a back seat and we may spend too much on food and drink or stuff we don’t need, mostly to fill an emotional void. It can also denote enormous displays of emotions that are huge to the person feeling them but not so to those witnessing. 

On Friday the Sun enters Leo and immediately sets up a lovely alignment to Jupiter. That brings about optimism, the opportunity for self-enrichment and a general sense of well-being and generosity. Whatever the rest of the week brings, it will end on a good note.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Now we move into the Leo part of the year and the activation of your sector of Creative Expression. Mercury moves into Leo on Tuesday and by Wednesday he will be in a lovely alignment to Jupiter in your sign. Your mind will not only be sharp but more creative and expansive now and you’re mood will be lifted greatly. This greatly offsets Venus in Cancer’s rough alignment to Jupiter, which throws your home life out of balance. You may feel underappreciated and will have to be good to yourself in unusual ways if not declare an outright strike in some fashion. Action will be taken swiftly this week, especially later in the week when you see your calendar fill up. Don’t forget to rest when you need to! 

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Your sector of Home lights up now as we move into Leo energy, first with Mercury on Tuesday then the Sun on Friday. Mercury will form a lovely alignment to Jupiter in your sector of Endings/New Beginnings (Aries) and this may prompt you to have a clearout or garage sale. A bit of a problem comes up due to Venus in Cancer (your sector of Thinking/Communication) in conflict with Jupiter in Aries. If you have help with something (said garage sale or another project), a slip in communication could leave you in the lurch, so have a plan B lined up. What’s working for you is Mercury/Jupiter alignment mentioned above, which should be stronger. As the week moves on, things get much busier and your calendar fills up; fortunately, you’re one of the most organized signs of the zodiac!    

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Leo is the sign of the times this week with your Ruler Mercury moving into that sign (and your sector of Thinking/Communication) on Tuesday, ready to form a lovely alignment to expansive Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Friends/Goals). This couldn’t be a better alignment for you since you are such a social creature and it looks like you’ll have a lot of social involvement this week. Later in the week Mercury will also come into a difficult alignment to Mars in Taurus (Endings/New Beginnings) so there may be someone from your past showing up that you’d really rather not see or have to deal with. Venus in Cancer (Finances) is in a difficult alignment to Jupiter so be careful borrowing or lending money; it could become sticky. 

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Your financial sector activates now with Leo coming into the picture. First, Mercury moves into Leo on Tuesday and sets up a beautiful alignment to benevolent Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Career/Social Life). Communications involving a raise or promotion or better paying job may be in the works and this alignment is extremely favorable; be sure to thoroughly research though, because Mercury will also come up to a difficult alignment to Mars in Taurus (your sector of Friends/Goals). This will create uncertainty. Venus in your sign is also in a difficult alignment to Jupiter in Aries and this can create a very emotional environment for you. Keep yourself in check. The Sun moves into Leo on Friday and by that time things will be in full swing as far as busy-ness goes. The Sun is well placed to Neptune still, as well as Jupiter, so whatever your dream is, is still strong for you. 

Leo (July 23 – August 22): It’s your time of year! Mercury moves into your sign first, on Tuesday and sets up a smashing alignment to benevolent Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Expansion), but in a couple more days also forms a difficult angle to aggressive Mars in Taurus (your sector of Career/Social Life).This dual alignment will have a pushme/pullyu effect in that you won’t get what you expect, for better or for worse. Keep an open mind and stand your ground when you need to. The Sun enters your sign on Friday and is still nicely aligned to Neptune and will also be in a lovely alignment to Jupiter. This puts you in a mighty fine mood that almost nothing can shake, not even Venus in Cancer in a difficult alignment to Jupiter. If something comes up about a past mistake, it’s likely you have already moved on.  

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): This is going to be yet another busy week and your sector of Endings/New Beginnings activates now with Mercury and the Sun moving into Leo. Mercury sets up on Tuesday and forms a lovely alignment to expansive Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Partnership). A couple of days later, Mercury will also be involved in a difficult alignment to Mars in Taurus; this should energize you rather than drag you down, though. If you made a mistake in the past and a similar situation comes around again, you’ll know what not to do. Venus in emotional Cancer forms a difficult alignment to Jupiter so there may be a confrontation with a friend this week. Finally, the Sun moves into Leo on Friday and aligns beautifully with Jupiter. So you see, it’s a week of sugar and spice! 

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Your sector of Friends/Goals activates this week as Mercury and the Sun both move into Leo. Mercury enters Leo on Tuesday and sets up a lovely alignment to expansive Jupiter in your opposite sign Aries (Relationships). A cou9---9ple of days later, Mercury will form a difficult angle to Mars in Taurus (your sector of Partnership). This dual set of alignments creates friction with some people you are closely involved with and there could be a bit of a power struggle or a powerful resistance to a change. Venus in Cancer (your sector of Social Life/Career) forms a hard angle to Jupiter and the above could become emotional. Fortunately, on Friday the Sun moves into Leo and holds hands with Jupiter, which could tip everything in your favor.   

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Your sector of Career/Social Life activates now, with Mercury and the Sun entering Leo this week. Mercury enters on Tuesday and immediately sets up a lovely angle to Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Work/Health). This bodes well on the work front, with kudos coming your way. A couple of days later, Mercury forms a difficult angle to Mars in your opposite sign Taurus and this indicates potential arguments with your spouse or partner involving other people’s involvement in your lives. Venus in Cancer (your sector of Expansion) moves into a difficult angle to Jupiter, and some emotional displays are likely around a work project that may have gotten out of hand. Friday is the day the Sun enters Leo and forms a great angle to Jupiter, smoothing out the rough corners and setting you up for a great weekend.      

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Leo energy awaits! This week both Mercury and the Sun move into this sunny sign of nobility and Mercury arrives first on Tuesday, activating your sector of Expansion and setting up a lovely alignment to your Ruler Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Creative Expression). This gets your juices flowing and sets your aim high. Not too high though…Mercury will also form a difficult angle with Mars in Taurus (your sector of Work/Health). You may have some trouble getting through on the work front or with a medical issue. Venus in Cancer (your sector of Partnership) forms a hard angle to Jupiter and this could create an emotional situation between yourself and others with whom you are involved in a project or plan. The Sun comes to the rescue on Friday, entering Leo and forming a great alignment to Jupiter. This will put the silver lining on any clouds that formed during the week. 

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Your sector of Partnership activates this week with the entrance of Mercury and the Sun into Leo. Mercury enters first on Tuesday and will form both a lovely alignment to Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Home) and a difficult alignment to Mars in Taurus (your sector of Creative Expression/Children). This indicates disharmony in the home coming from either a visiting child or a child in the home; fortunately, good communication prevails and you are able to get your point cross while also actively listening. The ability to work through emotions is in your favor. On Friday the Sun enters Leo and immediately sets up a lovely alignment to Jupiter; this bolsters the chances of harmony being restored/preserved.

Aquarius (January 21 - February 20): Your sector of Relationships activates now with Mercury and the Sun both moving into Leo this week. Mercury enters on Tuesday and during the week will form both a brilliant angle to Jupiter in Aries (your sector of Thinking/Communication) and a hard angle to Mars in Taurus (your sector of Home). This indicates both the urge to make your voice heard far and wide and stresses on the home front due to stubbornness. Venus in emotional Cancer is at a difficult angle to Jupiter and this could bring stress to your sector of Work/Health. The Sun enters Leo on Friday, forming a lovely alignment to Jupiter and, in many ways, saving the week. 

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Leo energy has arrived and Mercury and the Sun both enter this sunny sign of nobility this week. Mercury enters on Tuesday and will form both a lovely angle to Jupiter in Aries and a difficult angle to Mars in Taurus. This may have the effect of some bad news regarding purchase or investment in the form of “buyer’s remorse.” Venus in reactive Cancer (your sector of Creative Expression) will form a difficult alignment to Jupiter and this may hook into the “buyer’s remorse” problem in that emotion will be attached. Saving the week will be the Sun’s entrance into Leo on Friday, immediately forming a lovely alignment to Jupiter. This could be a silver lining leading to resolution.
