Dec. 6: Southern Resident Killer Whale Community Workshop 2.0 in Friday Harbor

San Juan County Marine Resources Committee hosts the Southern Resident Killer Whale Community Workshop 2.0 from 10 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Brickworks in Friday Harbor.

The purpose of the workshop is to update and engage community members in meaningful dialogue about state and local, including individual, efforts underway to support SRKW recovery.

The three pods that comprise the Southern Resident Killer Whale population - J, K and L - are listed under the federal Endangered Species Act.
